Lynn Hoeppner

Lynn has coached field hockey at the high school, club, Futures and collegiate levels. She is the current Head Coach at her alma mater, Mohawk Trail Regional High School where she has led the team to several titles. Her 2001 team was Western MA DI Champs, the 2007 team was undefeated League Champs and DI Western MA Finalists, and in 2008, the Mohawks were DII Western MA Champions and State Semi-Finalists. The 2010 team was undefeated League Champs and DII Western MA Champions. More recently, the 2012 team was a Western Mass Division II Finalist.

As Head Coach of Western Mass Bay State Team, she has led the team to numerous medals.

Lynn joined IAS in 2003 and advanced the program by establishing club teams to compete in regional and national venues. Her IAS Collegiate Team won gold in the 6v6 games in 2009, while her  scholastic 6v6 team won silver in 2010 and gold in 2012.

Lynn is USFHA Level II certified and a member of USFHA. She is the Northeast Futures Administrative Director and a member of NFHCA and MSFHCA. Lynn is also the MSFHCA West Liaison.

Lynn attended North Adams State College and went on to receive her associate’s degree from Champlain College in Burlington, VT, where she became the assistant coach.

If you were to ask Lynn what her favorite part of coaching is, she would comment to the fact that she loves teaching young athletes a sport that she is passionate about while helping them learn life lessons that will follow them through their lives.

Lynn, her husband Ken, and daughters Olivia (St. Michael's College 2011) and Madeline (Sacred Heart Univ. 2013), reside in Shelburne Falls, MA.

Sarah Williams

Sarah is a 2010 graduate of UMass Amherst with a bachelor’s degree in environmental design. During her four seasons with UMass, she played in 31 games, made 124 saves, and produced a .725 save percentage and 1.89 goals against average. She was a part of two Atlantic 10 Conference Championship Teams, two NCAA Tournament Teams, and named to the Atlantic 10 All-Conference Rookie Team in 2006 and the National Field Hockey Coaches Association's National Academic Squad in 2009.


Sarah serves as Head Goalkeeper Coach for the US Field Hockey (USFHA) Future's Program in Greenfield, Massachusetts.  Sarah began her position as an assistant coach for Amherst College in 2012 where the team achieved a record of 11-5, captured the Little Three Championship, and reached the semifinal round of NESCAC conference.  During the fall of 2011, she was the assistant coach at Kenyon College where the team went 7-11 overall and 7-7 in the NCAC. 


Sarah was the Head Goalkeeper Coach for Team IAS throughout her collegiate career. A native of Colorado Springs, she spent one season serving as an assistant coach at Cheyenne Mountain High School.


Sarah is USFHA Level II Certified Coach and a member of USFHA and NFHCA.
