Abbey Rouillard a senior defender from Stevens High School in Claremont, NH was recently called in to the Athletic Director Aaron House's office. Let's say she was a little nervous not knowing the reason why. "I thought when I first walked in Mr. House's office I was going to be in trouble" she said.

Danielle Duseau hails from the small town of Hatfield in Western Massachusetts. She attends Smith Academy. Smith Academy is a 7th-12th grade regional school with a student population of 193. Danielle’s class of 2014 has just 31 students enrolled. Talk about small! Danielle follows in the big steps of Judy Strong (UMass; USFH Olympian ’80 & ‘84) and Kelly Dostal (Wake Forest ‘05/USFH National Team).
On July 22, 2012 USFH announced the top U17 athletes in the country who were named to the 2012-13 US Junior National Field Hockey Squad. Selections were made following the completion of Junior National Camp, a four-day training camp where athletes showcase their skills in front of selectors for a spot on the U.S. Junior National Squads.
The start of 2013 found Lynn Hoeppner and Sarah Williams purchasing the former IAS Club Field Hockey program and incorporating Element Athletics. Eight years ago Lynn began the club field hockey for Indoor Action Sports as she saw the increasing popularity of the sport and the need for a high quality developmental program outside of the high school season. Sarah first worked for Lynn her freshman year of college while attending UMass Amherst where she was a goalie for the team and has been a part of the IAS field hockey program for the past seven years. . Lynn and Sarah’s dream of continuing the growth of the sport they are so passionate about initiated the creation of Element. Element officially began business January 1st, 2013. “It is with the promise of new beginnings and a passion for the sport that Sarah and I are thrilled to pursue the goals we have set forth with Element,to create versatile, creative players who excel on the pitch and in the classroom” said Lynn. With the passion, determination, and commitment to making field hockey a more competitive sport in the U.S. you can be sure Lynn and Sarah will make a huge impact.
